San Sigismondo Volunteers Firemen Department

 

The San Sigismondo Volunteers Firemen Department is been established the 2th of June 1911 Named 31° Fire Department of the Brunico District and havin in force 34 Firemen.
Due to fire tools lack during the “Italian Fascist domination” the fire protection operations was a really heavy duty. After 'WW II' in the year 1946 is been purchased a “ Motopompa” replaced with a new one only in the year 1968.
 


In the San Sigismondo Volunteers Firemen House are still stored fire protection tools dated before year 1911 as a proof of fire protection activities before year 1911.
 

 

 

 


This two hand water pump are been restored in the year 2000 and could be still in service.

 

 

In the San Sigismondo Volunteers Firemen Department there are 28 operative Firemen 1 non operative Fireman and 3 Honor Firemen.
