San Sigismondo is a quiet and pleasant part of Chienes/Kiens municipality, at 750 meters a.s.l.. Known on 1050 with name Burin and on 1317 with name Peuren, from ancient german ‘Maso Urbano’. From the first half of XV century, San Sigismondo take its name from holy procurer.
